Before some pain management procedures begin, your clinic may ask who will pick you up, request that person’s phone number, and contact them to confirm they are available and meet the clinic’s requirements. This may include taking you home safely and, when required, staying with you during early recovery. If you don’t have someone who can meet these needs, your procedure may be delayed or even cancelled. When family or friends can’t be there, we fill that role.
Getting home
A safe, comfortable ride home (one-way or round-trip, in our vehicle or yours)
Escort from the discharge area to the vehicle

Help getting safely inside your home
Recovery support at home
Walking and mobility assistance as you get settled
Safety observation during the first part of recovery
Meal or snack preparation and hydration reminders
Medication reminders, and help with the medications you take yourself
Comfort, reassurance, and companionship until you're ready to be on your own
Pain procedures can leave you sore, stiff, numb, weak, or unsteady for a while. Some of our attendants receive ongoing pain treatments themselves, while others have supported friends or family members who do. That lived experience helps us understand the practical challenges of recovery.
Staying in one position for too long can be uncomfortable, but standing, turning, or repositioning may also be difficult. We give you time to move carefully and provide steady support when getting up or changing positions. Because even small movements can affect pain, we avoid rushing and take extra care while helping you move and get comfortable.
Tell us about your appointment. Share your procedure location, date, expected timing, and transportation needs. About two business days’ notice is ideal, though sooner is always better.
We plan your support. With your permission, we can coordinate with your clinic to understand its discharge requirements and identify the most likely pickup time. We also assign a trained, screened, and background-checked attendant.
Your attendant follows the plan arranged for your visit. Service may be one-way or round-trip, in your vehicle or ours, and includes any settling-in or at-home support your clinic requires.
Epidural steroid injections
Nerve blocks and facet joint injections
Radiofrequency ablation
Spinal cord stimulator trials and implants
Other outpatient pain procedures that may leave you unable to drive or safely manage early recovery alone
If you're not sure whether we can help with your specific procedure, just ask. We're happy to talk it through.
Many pain management plans require a series of injections or repeat procedures over time, and each visit brings the same quiet worry of who to ask this time. Once we've supported you, rebooking is simple. It's the same trusted support, ready whenever your next appointment comes up: one less thing to arrange, and no one to feel guilty asking, while you focus on feeling better.
Here's why you can trust us during your most vulnerable moments of recovery:
Texas-licensed. We operate as a Personal Assistance Services agency under Texas HHSC oversight. We are held to the highest standards, not just good intentions.
Screened and background-checked. Every care attendant is screened and background-checked before they have any contact with clients.
Trained for recovery. Our attendants are experienced in supporting people through post-procedure recovery and know what to watch for and how to manage the situation.
Private and discreet. We respect your personal information and proudly uphold our HIPAA privacy practice obligation. We treat your care as your business, no one’s but yours.
Two business days, though sooner is always better. If you're on a recurring treatment schedule, we can plan ahead together.
No. Our role is to make the day go smoothly, from picking you up after your procedure to getting you home, settled in, and comfortable. We're trained and experienced in supporting people through recovery, so you're in good hands for that part of the day. We're not nurses or doctors, but we know what to watch for, and if anything comes up during your recovery that needs medical input, we'll help engage your care team. And of course, in a true emergency, we'll call 911 right away.
Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards; however, each plan has its own rules about what expenses qualify for coverage. Because those rules vary, we recommend checking with your plan administrator if you're unsure whether the service is eligible.
No. Most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, don't cover transportation and post-procedure support at home, so we don't bill insurance directly. For those plans that do, we'll do what we can to help you seek reimbursement. Typically, that means we provide an itemized receipt with the medical codes your insurance needs (sometimes called a superbill), and your doctor can write a short letter of medical necessity explaining why the care was needed. You submit both to your insurance, and they'll let you know what they can cover.
